Hiking: Queen's Garden Podcast!

I took another trip to Bryce over Spring Break with Cheryl and Alex. We toured around the rim and stayed at Ruby's for a couple days. I went there last year to film the Above The Rim episode, but I wanted to show Bryce to Cheryl and Alex. I think Bryce is one of those places in the world that is so out of the ordinary and so amazing that you just have to see it for real to understand it.
I got up early one day so I could go off and shoot a podcast. I knew where I wanted to go. Last time I was in Bryce, my friend Rick and I hiked down the Queen's Garden Trail by headlamp before the Sunrise and watched the Sun rise over Bryce from down in the Canyon. It's an amazing hour long treat with hoodoos in the distance glowing with the first rays of light and then the light quickly hitting the Rim cliffs and crawling down to fill the canyon with golden light. So I did the same and got up early to go out.
It was quite a bit colder this time. The outside temperature was 14 degrees F when I walked to my car. Brrrrrrrrrrrr. So I got a bit of a late start and the sun was already lighting the sky when I started down the trail. I caught it coming up as I was introducing the show and then hiked down shooting most of the shots for the podcast. It was a very productive morning.
I used some of my shots from my last trip and some from this trip to make the show, so if you are observant, my hair changes a bit and so do my clothes. :)
I created an EveryTrail Guide that has video clips instead of images. You can follow the trail and watch the clips for key places along the trail. You don't even have to get up early! Check it out here and leave a comment, a vote, anything. I don't get any money for any of this, so pay me with your comments and votes please!
