Help Get Kids Outdoors!

I have decided to climb another mountain for Bay Area Wilderness Training (BAWT) and help get kids outdoors.  BAWT trains youth workers and teachers (like me!) in wilderness leadership, first aid, and checks out the needed equipment and even vans so kids can spend their first night ever under the stars in the wilderness.  There are so many great causes out there, but BAWT is mine, and I have raised over $8,500 through two climbs for BAWT.  I have climbed Mt. Rainier and The Grand Teton for BAWT.

Check out the video I created of my Grand Teton Climb:

Check out the great people who donated to my cause for my Rainier climb.

I have decided to climb the highest peak in the continental USA this time, Mt. Whitney!  I'll be climbing June 23rd through the 26th.  This time, I want my friends to join me and together we can raise fund for BAWT together as well as climb Mt. Whitney together.  Anyone interested?  If you are, sign up here and let me know you are climbing with me!  I'll help you with fundraising, training, logistics, and be your buddy on the mountain.  Climbing Mt. Rainier changed my life from that of a couch potato wishing he could climb mountains to an actual climber.  It just took jumping in, raising the money, training (a lot of it), and then the commitment to climb.

If you can't climb, please join me by donating in my name to Bay Area Wilderness Training.  I'll thank you in this and other blogs (tell me if you don't want your name posted) as well as my videos.

Here is the link to my fundraising page.  All donations are completely tax deductible.

Thanks!

Tony
