Bringing The World Together
World Tree Productions is dedicated to bringing the world together by showing the beauty of nature. We all have access to the beauty of this world and the Universe. It's everywhere. This world is our home and beauty is everywhere to be found if you just stop and look. There is no need for hate, war, and conflict in people who recognize that we are all one on this beautiful planet.
Right now, World Tree is just Tony Farley. Just one guy going out to shoot, one guy editing, and one guy creating this website. It's just the beginning, and someday I hope to have a team of people working with me to create great shows. If you are interested in joining me, there is no pay yet, I do it all out of my pocket with the hope of someday it paying for itself. If you are willing to do the same, contact me.
WorldTree, The Name
In Norse Mythology, Yggdrasil, The World Tree is a great ash tree located at the center of the universe joining the nine worlds. Yggdrasil was just too hard to spell and pronounce, so the company became World Tree. The name is a great fit for my goals for the company as well as my Norwegian decent. My goal is to unite by showing the beauty that exists everywhere. The world is now splintered into many more than nine worlds, but like the leaves of the ash tree, we are connected through stem, limb, and branch to the mighty trunk.
Some World Tree projects:
Beautiful Places In HD
Beautiful Places is my first, and most successful show. It's about showing the beautiful places in this world. There is great music, narration about the place, the sound of the place, and then a quote from a poem, a writing, or a song. It's the show I wanted to find when podcasting started. I couldn't find it, so I created it myself. Beautiful Places is always at the top of the iTunes Places and Travel category.
Beautiful Places: Hiking
A show about the hike to the Beautiful Place, or a great hike to take while visiting a beautiful place. With 3D maps showing the route, hiking tips, gear tips, and great shots of the trail and the place. This show is also awaiting sponsorship and is an ideal podcast for ourdoor gear companies or retailers needing a podcast to show off their products. Many shows have been filmed, but none but the first: The Mist Trail is available. We are waiting for a show sponsor before we start releasing it.
