Bryce Canyon

Crater Lake

Bryce Canyon is one of those magical places that you have to visit if you have the chance.  When you drive to the rim for the first time, it's like looking into the biggest kalidascope ever.  There is so much to look at and so many shapes, forms, and shades of red and orange.  Truly amazing.  Most people stay on the rim, and that's just fine if you only have a short time to stay.  But if you can, hike down in!  There are some perfect short trails that take you through the hoodoos.  Get up before the sun rises and walk down the Queen's Garden trail by headlamp.  It's an easy trail and there will be no one there while the sun rises filling the valley with orange light.  Check below for information about where to stay, where to eat, and some great trails.  And the podcasts are at the bottom.  I'm working on them right now.

I stayed a couple nights in the North Campground and froze!  My friends and I then went to Ruby's to thaw out and eat a good meal.

I ate at the campsite and at Ruby's.  The line was really long at Ruby's but it went quickly and I was eating soon.  The food was good.
